There are many maps available that illustrate the city centre of Liverpool - but none like this!

Liverpool's Calorie Map
shows walking routes
across the city and
displays the number
of calories burnt
by people
making these
journeys.

CATCH is a demonstration project in the European Commission's Life-Environment Programme. It supports the EC's Sixth Environmental Action Programme by promoting sustainable mobility in order to improve air quality. CATCH is being implemented in Liverpool (UK), Suceava (Romania) and Potenza (Italy).

Innovative Calorie Map of Liverpool

The map comes in a handy pocket size and will enable people to make the connection between walking and improved personal health and fitness.
